Osuna is situated on top of a hill where you can see its varied landscape, composed by the Campiña and their mountainous areas, and it benefits from its strategic situation, in the heart of Andalousie, becoming a crossroads between Sevilla, Cordoba, Malaga and Granada .
In this millennial sevillaine town of lordly past it reflects in its historical central area the evolution of the pre-Roman Urso, where the Iberian villages left rich sign of their presence. The Roman Empire did not remain behind and nowadays we can admire remainders of the theatre and the necropolis, while the brave fighting Moslems who fortified the village left the citadel and the Water Tower, today central office of the Archaeological Gallery.
The big hereditary richness of Osuna has an incomparable setting in the three museums that the city have. In the Archaeological Gallery it shows the most important works of the ancient art like the Iberian Toro de Osuna , and the Roman Bronces de Osuna.
The collegiate church has one of the most important collections of painting of the Barroque period with José Ribera´s painting, while in the Sacred Art Gallery are the fine carvings of the religious images.

To their tremendous attractiveness, Osuna adds some natural protected spaces of big richness, suitable setting for the practice of every type of sport and tourism active activities.
The paths and drover´s roads, which cross the green countries of Osuna yet, lead to the ENDORREICA area, place in whose pool rest every year thousands of birds like herons, gooses, flamingos and the almost extingued malmsey duck.
The setting of Río Blanco-Salinoso, with their marvellous gallery woods, the hilly area of Higuerones-Gomera, where predatories are the protagonist, and the Corbones River , paradise for fishing lovers, give one idea of the striking natural wealth of the ancient Urso.
After enjoying of this singular scene that constitute Osuna and the town of the region, visitors can taste the tapas and the typical dishes which the numerous bars and restaurants elaborated with products of the area like the recognized olive virgin oil produced in Osuna by the S.A.T. Sta. Teresa.
Others important tourist attractiveness's in Osuna are their festivities. A really spectacle for the senses is, every year, the Holy Week by the ancient streets of stone of Osuna, a festivity tied, like others traditions as the craftsmanship, to the town and to the personality of their people.
The Fair of May is, undoubtedly, one of the most important fairs of Sevilla, which attract to a lot of visitors every year and have RIDES and interesant bullfighting festivities celebrated in our centenary bullring.
